Dr. Matt Marvel, assistant professor of management and entrepreneurship in WKU’s Gordon Ford College of Business, has been appointed Vice President for Services for United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE). Dr. Marvel specializes in technology entrepreneurship including opportunity development and innovation.
Dr. Marvel’s appointed position will give him the opportunity to work closely with USASBE staff to develop additional services for their members. “I am very excited to be asked to play a key role in USASBE,” Dr. Marvel said. “Being a part of this organization is a great national service opportunity.”
With more than 800 members worldwide, USASBE works with educators to advance knowledge and foster business development through entrepreneurship education and research.
