Kaleidoscope, a community youth arts program, will host its “Speak Up!!” Showcase Event, highlighting the music, poetry, dance and visual arts of Kaleidoscope youth, at 7 p.m. Nov. 24 at the Bowling Green High School Theater, 1801 Rockingham Lane.
A reception for family, friends and guests will follow the show. The event is free, but donations will be accepted.
Kaleidoscope is a community-based youth development program that celebrates the value of young people and the power of love. It is their mission to transform youth and community though arts and activism. They seek to bring about positive transformation by creating an environment where youth can engage important issues through the arts and contribute back to society. Programs at Kaleidoscope are free of charge and include Youth Art Teams, Community Outreach, Voices4Justice and Service Learning.
