WKU’s forensics program will host the annual British Debates at 4 p.m. Nov. 5 in the Mass Media and Technology Hall Auditorium.
The format is based on what one would see in the British Parliament. The public is invited.
The British team will be represented by Ed James of Gloucestershire, England, and Derek Doyle of Kerry, Ireland. Juniors Jessica Furgerson of San Antonio and Elizabeth Mullins of Plymouth, Mass., will represent WKU.
The British Debates was established in 1922 by The English Speaking Union. This is the sixth time the English Speaking Union has selected WKU as part of the tour.
