As part of WKU Parking and Transportation’s “car-free, care-free” campaign, President Gary Ransdell led a bike ride from Guthrie Tower to Fountain Square Park on Sept. 4. Upcoming Thursday Night Bike Rides (all begin at 6 p.m. at Guthrie Tower) include: Southside Ride on Sept. 11 to South Campus area; Circus Square Ride on Sept. 18 to Circus Square and Fairview Avenue area; Bike ‘n Shop on Sept. 25 to Wal-Mart, Waffle House and Hollywood Video. Upcoming Saturday Bike Rides (all begin at 1 p.m. at Guthrie Tower) include: Lost River Cave/Chuck Crume Park on Sept. 6; Kereiakes Park on Sept. 13; Mayor’s Ride on Sept. 20; Preston Miller Park on Sept. 27.
